  • Hi, I’m Katie – the Network Data Analyst. I’ve worked in the NHS for 12 years, specialising in data, audit, and using analytics to support service improvement. In my current role, I lead on several key projects for the Network, including managing the Pan-Midlands Paediatric Bed Capacity Dashboard for Paediatric Critical Care, running regular data quality audits, and developing bespoke tools such as the Club Foot Dashboard for the Surgery in Children Network. I regularly present data to our working groups, drawing from both national dashboards and local intelligence to support discussions and shared understanding. I’ve also helped deliver bitesize training sessions to make data more accessible and meaningful for a wide range of colleagues. With a background that spans Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Stroke, General Surgery and Mortality Review, I bring a strong understanding of how data can drive real change in clinical services. I’m passionate about ensuring our regional datasets are accurate, actionable, and used to improve outcomes for children and young people.
